How to: Edit Microsoft Query criteria in Excel.
Solution:
Select the 'View' menu and select 'Criteria'. Select the item to be edited.
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Criteria'. (This displays the Criteria Pane).
2) Double-click the item to be edited:
a) To change the 'Name' field:
1] Double-click the 'Criteria Field' row. (The Edit Criteria dialog box appears.)
2] Update the 'Total' and/or 'Field'.
3] Click 'OK'.
b) To edit the operator or comparison value:
1] Double-click the 'Value' row. (This displays the Edit Criteria dialog box.)
2] Update the selections.
3] Click 'OK'.
4] Select a new operator from the 'Operator' drop-down list box.
5] Select a new matching value in the 'Value' text box.
NOTE: Either type the value directly into the text box, or click 'Values' to select a value from the existing values for that field.
3) Click 'OK'. (This criterion is edited and the Edit Criteria dialog box closes.)
